Haywards Heath Neigbourhood Plan - Haywards Heath Neighbourhood Plan has been accepted by Mid Sussex District Council and will proceed to Referendum on the 1st December 2016 - details to follow. The finalised Haywards Heath Neighbourhood Plan can be viewed here or with all of the background information on the designated Neighbourhood Plan Page of this Website.
The Town Council, as part of the Neighbourhood Plan process and in light of developement around the Town boundary, has lobbied West Sussex County Council to look at the raod network in the South of the Town. Please see a letter from the Leader of the Town Council to the Cabinet Member for Highways.
Haywards Heath Community Warden
You may have seen him already, but the Town Council is delighted to announce that a Community Warden, Mr Damon Cooper, has been deployed to the Town Center and surrounds. This forms part of a partnership initiative, jointly funded by Haywards Heath Town Council, Sussex Police & Crime Commissioner, the Southern Cooperative and Sussex Police, as a one-year pilot Click Here for further information.
