A fantastic turnout by the Community to the Haywards Heath Remembrance Sunday Service at the War Memorial on Muster Green.
Organised by the Town Council, the service was conducted by the Reverend Ray Smith from St Wilfrid's Church and Charles Sergant, RBL Chaplain and wreaths were laid by Sir Richard Kleinworth Bt DL, The Rt Honourable Sir Nicholas Soames MP, Town Mayor, Cllr James Knight, Charlie Field of the Royal Yeomanry and the Royal British Legion. It was wonderful to see so many youth organisations represented including the 172 Squadron Air Cadets, the Army Cadet Force, Police Cadets and Scout and Girl Guide Associations.
Our thanks go to all the wonderful staff, West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service, the veterans and all the volunteers who helped make the Service so meaningful and to The Haywards Heath Concert Brass who played during the service and piper, Kevin McDonald who led the parade.
See below for some wonderful photos of the Service with thanks to Simon Kingsley-Napley and Marcus and Natash Ward at Ward Pics.
