Maximise your membership and visit our drop in session at Freshmill Serviced Offices where you can chat to Sue over a coffee and help your membership gather speed and efficiency.

We often get new members joining the HHBA who have quite a few questions in order to get themselves up and running and making the most out of their membership, and for existing members who wish to become more involved in the business community and learn more about the association.

To help answer these questions and to be a point of contact, Sue Llewellyn our Business Manager will set up a drop in sessions each month at Freshmills Co-Working Offices. (Freshmill, Delta House, 16 Bridge Road, Haywards Heath, RH16 1UA)

We are delighted to announce a new morning networking event ‘Reserved for HHBA’ at Freshmill Services offices. We have booked a meeting room at Freshmill Services offices in Haywards Heath. It’s reserved just for HHBA members between 1000-1130 on the last Thursday of February.

It’s a really relaxed and informal coffee with no speakers or presentations. Just a drink if it fits with your diary.

Register your attendance on Eventbrite in the usual way. A couple of HHBA committee members will be there to chat to you as well as other members.

Organised by Cuckfield Museum. Normally entry is £5 or £3 for members. And they ask that people email events@cuckfieldmuseum.org beforehand to give some idea of numbers.

HHBA are delighted to invite you to join us at the Ansty Village Centre on 11th March from 5pm, for an evening of networking, and a short masterclass on how to design the perfect advert.

Promoting your business locally can be something which is hard to know where to find your customers, and what should the perfect advert look like?

David Tingley, editor and founder of four community magazines in Mid Sussex (Lindfield Life, Cuckfield Life, Hurst Life, Hassocks Life) will lead this interactive session – showing business owners what the essential elements that are needed for the best print advert.

You will be guided through a short ad design masterclass, as David (Kipper Life magazines) encourages you to think about what each element would look like for your business.

This is an ideal opportunity for you to introduce yourself, your business and make new connections. Meet new members that you may not have seen before as well as see some familiar faces.

Join us this Easter for a fun packed 3 day course where students will develop their acting for screen skills and create a one-shot video as a film production company! PQA Haywards Heath Easter Workshop is open to anyone aged 8-18 (you do not need to be a PQA student to attend) It will run from 9 - 11 April at Warden Park Secondary Academy, RH17 5DP. Fund raising Bike Ride with a selection of four routes for riders of all kinds. From fun-loving children to future champions. A ride to remember!

This 3 day event commences in East Grinstead on the 3rd of May with a 10 mile race, followed by the Haywards Heath 10 mile the 4th of May and finishing in Burgess Hill on the 5th of May with a 10k. Combined, these race make up the Mid Sussex Marathon.

Participants can once again challenge themselves to complete an individual town race, or complete the full marathon distance over three days.

For younger participants and new runners, we have the Mid Sussex Fun Run which is family friendly and ideal for all ages, fancy dress is welcome! The Mid Sussex Mile race is a chip timed event for everyone 7 and over.

VE Day in 2025 marks the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War.
