
Green Flag Award for Muster Green
We are celebrating our 11th consecutive Green Flag Award for Muster Green, an international quality mark for parks and green spaces.
The news that Muster Green has met the standards required for the accreditation is testament to the hard work and dedication of the team that care for the green space, so that visitors and residents alike can enjoy it.

The Town Council has a team of five grounds staff who under the Head Grounds Man are responsible for maintenance and upkeep of the Council owned areas of the town. As well as the duties below, the grounds staff team also remove graffiti and respond to issues in the town on behalf of West Sussex County Council and Mid Sussex District Council. Town Hall maintenance – keep gardens, car park, footpath, disabled ramp and steps clean and free from litter debris, grit car park (also footpath and steps in inclement weather)

Spring / Summer / Autumn planting and general maintenance of Muster Green, and flowerbeds throughout the town.
