10 February 2020
To celebrate the love of books, West Sussex Libraries are inviting us all to take on the Mid Sussex Reading Challenge. It is free to join and is suitable for people of all ages and reading abilities. You can take part as an individual, as part of a reading group or get reading as a family! . Information is available at your libraries in Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill, East Grinstead, Hassocks or Hustpierpoint or you can visit https://midsussexreadingchallenge.art.blog/
So what is the challenge?
You are invited to read twelve books in 2020, following a different theme each month – including a banned book, a book under 200 pages long and a prize-winning book. Our upcoming theme for February is to read a collection of short stories.
It’s completely free to take part and it’s designed to be informal – so if you skip a month or join the challenge late, that’s not a problem! If you’d like to join us, pop into any local Mid Sussex Library to find out more, pick up a leaflet and sign up to the challenge!
