The Mayor gave a moving and poignant speech and laid flowers as the community gathered at the Town Hall to commemorate Holocaust Memorial Day, honouring the memory of those who lost their lives during the Holocaust and other genocides. The event also marked the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz and the 30th anniversary of the end of the Bosnian genocide.
